According to madam Leprince de Beaumont's tale, Patricia Marmoras and Claude Haberer's adaptation with Yann Legouic and Claude Haberer as actors. It is still Philippe Loffredo who puts me in touch with Claude Haberer. He collaborated on his first show for the Paris Theatre de l'oeuf. As he couldn't insure this second project, he suggests me to replace him. We have just finished together the Au coeur des Toiles first series in the Antefilms team. The show was charming and created for children in these so current and small Theatre de Poche in Paris. It makes since a french regular tour. I had composed several small classic subjects which became integrated into one hour scenario. Among them is the Final which is one of my prides.

After a 1995' first revision, to make it execute by a symphonic orchestra, I reorganized, during summer 2002, the whole work in a 19'15" long symphonic suite, ideal for the ballet. Next to original subjects appear new ones who perfect the suite as a complete concert work. The first orchestration, light and adapted to a young public, has been completely rewritten. It is rather impressive today because it integrates, next to the symphonic basic nomenclature, a set of percussions, an organ (Beast character, castle symbolism) and a piano who complements the orchestra. Also, the score expects to be executed in simple symphonic orchestra and to be played easier. Finally, its sound volume, its writing without difficulties, the harmonic invoice which synthetizes current manners in a natural way, the second part big lyric subjects, shall allow it to be interpreted next to works of the general concert repertoire.
